Here, I have listed some of the method books that I use with my students. You can find these books at The
Musician's Warehouse and World of Music (please see
Links page for store locations and call ahead). In
addition to these books, I suggest students to find other music books that they would like to work on. For
intermediate and advanced students, I suggest books on Jazz, Blues, Classical, Pop, or Movie/ T.V. Themes.
It is important to incorporate something fun into your practice routine. Not only are you playing something
that you like but you are applying the techniques that you have learned from other method books to the
songs of your choice.
